Not a French Fry, Not a Tot
These easy to make taters are somewhere between a french fry and a tater tot.
Ingredients:
- Russet Potatoes ( I usually do 2 small potatoes per person)
- Spray Olive Oil (you can use regular olive oil. The spray is easier)
- Salt
- Pepper
- Air Fryer (these can be put in the oven as well)
Directions:
- Wash the potatoes
- Poke some holes in the potatoes so they don’t go klah- blewy when you cook them
- Place the potatoes, skin on, in the microwave (or oven) and bake them till done. ( Usually about 4-5 min in the microwave)
- When the potatoes are done, cover them with foil and let them cool.
- Once cool, cut them into approximately 1 inch shapes.
- Place the taters in an air fryer. Spread them out so they don’t overlap each other.
- Spray them with olive oil and sprinkle some salt on them.
- I set my fryer to 400 deg f, for 14 minutes.
- After about 7 minutes, shake the taters and re spray with oil.
- When they are done, add spices to your taste
